About Jon
Jon became a licensed real estate agent in 2001 and has been providing unsurpassed professional real estate services to his clients since then. See testimonials.
He started out as a real estate agent working for one of the largest brokerage firms in the Twin Cities. He continued serving clients in the Twin Cities area until 2005, at which point he decided to take his real estate talents to Florida. By 2007 Jon established himself as one of Orlando’s top selling agents with over $12 million in individual volume that year.
In spite of the success, he had already started planning his return to Minnesota, where he could be near family and friends and enjoy the vibrant lifestyle of the Twin Cities. In the spring of 2008 he obtained his real estate broker’s license and established an independent brokerage. That fall he made the move back to Minnesota to team up with Lake Country Builders, a well-known custom home builder, to market their new Minnesota Greenstar Gold certified home in Linden Hills in the 2008 Parade of Homes. Since then he’s worked with a wide variety of clients: residential, condos, townhomes, first time home buyers, investors, home estate sales, foreclosures, and short sales. He has established himself as an experienced and successful realtor, with great communication and negotiating skills. He has a passion for helping clients maximize their home equity and finding that special home that fits their lifestyle.
When things get tough…
While Jon prides himself as a skillful and tenacious negotiator, occasionally extra measures are needed to make sure his clients get the best deal possible. In these rare cases, Jon asks for a face to face meeting, and brings his assistant – Yogi! These meetings are typically short, they come out in his client’s favor and Yogi is rewarded with a treat!

Jon helped us find our dream house in April 2013. We had looked at many houses in our price range and were very particular in what we wanted but Jon was extremely patient with us throughout the entire process. Jon was very knowledgeable and would point out things we knew nothing about, such as: the signs of a bad foundation, old electrical issues, moisture problems with certain types of exterior, etc. In the end, we saw a short sale online that looked perfect. Jon got us a showing even though it multiple offers had been received and one of them had been accepted. He encouraged us to put in a back up offer since the other backup offers had withdrawn. We did and sure enough a month later we received a call from Jon saying the original offer was withdrawn due to financial difficulties and our offer was accepted.
